The peaks and valleys of 2020 and 2021 were clearly caused by the pandemic, and while it can feel like that's long gone, we still see some signs of normalization over 2022 and 2023.

In 2023, we found that 73% of shops reported paying their technicians hourly. The median hourly wage was $30/hr.
